About Nassington Energy And Thermal

Nassington Energy And Thermal began in 2024 as a sub committee of the Nassington Parish Council. We are a committee of Volunteer Nassington residents.
This is a long term initiative with the aim of improving energy security and price stability in Nassington while reducing our environmental impact.

Community-Driven Energy Initiative

Lead by Pamela Wall, who brought us all together, we are now a project team of 10 strong with diverse and highly relevant skillsets in fields such as renewables, energy transition, circular economy battery technologies, construction, with specialism in ground works and flood defenses, finance, project management, business administration and engineering from every discipline.

We are always open to new members, so if you would like to join the committee please do get in touch.

We have a treasure trove of talent and passion right here in Nassington.

We have been awarded a 40K grant from the Community Energy Fund this is to pay for:

  • Energy profiling of the village
  • Geographic Survey
  • Assess future energy demands
  • Learn about the pros and cons of different power and heat options
  • Look at how each of the options will fit with Nassington Village
  • Provide potential heat and electricity options for consultation

We are working closely with our partners:

A holistic, inclusive and ambitious project to remove the villages dependency on oil and gas
